About this role
You will be part of the TWoA Legal team reporting to and mentored by the Legal Counsel. You will provide general legal management services/advice covering a wide range of practice areas including Commercial, Privacy, Education, IP, Compliance, IT (SaaS, Licensing), Property and Procurement.
No two days will be alike.
About you

Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) along with a current practising certificate
Ideally 1-4 years PQE
Exposure to a wide variety of legal disciplines
Excellent research skills and sound judgement
Exceptional relationship building abilities
A team player who enjoys working and contributing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Developing commercial acumen together with excellent negotiation skills
The ability to deliver expert legal advice confidently
The ability to problem-solve, take initiative and deal with a fast-changing environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
A pragmatic, solutions-based approach

As a kaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
