Junior / Experienced Civil Construction WorkerFounded over 50 years ago, Ching Contracting Ltd is a local privately owned civil contracting company with an enviable reputation in the Nelson & Tasman Region.Our work includes all aspects of infrastructure drainage, water reticulation, earthworks and roading for Councils, Private and Commercial clients.
We have the in-house skills to manage projects to any specification and the resources to consistently and safely deliver quality results on time.We're currently looking for a junior or experienced Civil Construction Worker to join our team.We are open to considering juniors without prior experience, though ideally candidates will have previous Civil Pipeline Construction experience and qualifications.
Highly advantageous will be a background in the Civil Construction industry laying pipes; uPVC, PE and Concrete pipes, from small (100mm) to large diameter (1800mm and above).
You'll also need a minimum full class 1 drivers licence (class 2 would be an advantage) and WTR licence endorsements.We're looking for people who:Are self-motivated and able to work efficientlyHave enthusiasm to learn and upskillAre able to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol testHave a health & safety and environmental focusHave a diligent, reliable, and professional work ethicWe have a family style environment you will be proud to be a part of and supportive management who genuinely care about our team.
