Certified Drainlayer Our client is aspiring to be the best civil contractor in complex 3-water drainage, earthworks and civil works projects for private and public customers in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.
They are committed to growing their team and enabling them to progress their reputation as the contractor of choice for their customers.
About the role As a Drainlayer you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems.
The role requires a strong understanding of site plans, precise use of tools and machinery.
This role demands physical fitness, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship on every job.
Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job.
Be able to read plans with the ability to deliver the project on time.
Excavate trenches, laying pipes, and connecting fittings.
Operate heavy equipment and machinery (excavators, rollers, loaders, etc.).
Requirements A minimum of 3 years of New Zealand experience.
Certified Drainlayer Ticket.
A clean class 1 or 2 NZ Driver's License, WTR Endorsements advantageous.
Must have own reliable transport.
Undergo and pass all pre-employment checks.
Strong work ethic, and able to work well in a team environment.
