Junior Accounts Assistant - 9-12 Months Maternity Cover

I-Fulfilment is a fast-growing technology-enabled business providing fulfilment services to eCommerce companies. Our clients include many dynamic and rapidly expanding start-up businesses. Alongside our fulfilment services, we also offer marketplace support, such as managing and monitoring Amazon and eBay accounts on behalf of our clients.
We are seeking a Junior Accounts Assistant for a 9-12 month maternity cover, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role involves providing support across a wide range of administrative and accounting functions, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the eCommerce industry while developing your skills in accounting.
Key areas of responsibility:

Sales ledger support for a growing portfolio of clients ensuring monthly invoices are accurate, complete and issued in a timely manner
Purchase ledger support ensuring supplier invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner
Assisting the Finance Manager with the monthly management accounts
Acting as a direct point of contact for client queries
Supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Manager with other day to day tasks and ad hoc projects as required

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:

Tech savvy with an interest in eCommerce and an eye for detail
Proficient using MS Office with intermediate/advanced Excel skills
Strong Maths and English GCSE results (grade C/4 or better)
Methodical, self-disciplined and have the ability to prioritise own workload
A proactive, can-do attitude
Confident communicating with people at all levels
