We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Jr Sous Chef to join our team to create memorable and unique experiences.About the RoleReporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, you will have a pivotal leadership role in the Rosewood Matakauri Culinary team.
This is a hands-on position.Responsibilities include:Creative input with menu development and dish presentationEnsuring adequacy of supplies at cooking stationsTraining, developing and supporting junior chefsOptimising the cooking process with attention to speed and qualityEnsure exceptional hygiene practices are maintainedPreparing ingredients that should be frequently availableManaging the kitchen brigade and standards in the absence of the Sous ChefAbout YouThe successful candidate will be agile, have a can-do attitude, work well in a high-pressure environment and seek to stretch their career.
