Commercial & Architectural Joinery Operation Our client is a well-established joinery company that works alongside a small group of architects/designers and commercial builders, supporting them to deliver a range of both commercial construction fit outs and other residential projects.
To maintain that position, they have invested in new technologies and have built a small high performing team that has a real passion for delivering excellence and looking for continuous improvements.
A focus on quality, premium service, and uncompromised delivery has led to them developing a strong reputation that brings them repeat business as the preferred supplier.
This is a new role that is part of their succession planning.
While offering a leadership role in the day-to-day operations, it will work with the Managing Director to take a broader role in pricing new business opportunities and ensuring the project specifications and requirements are fully documented.
Your areas of involvement will be quite broad-ranging.
While joinery knowledge and experience in pricing are critical, planning skills, attention to detail, and strong people skills are essential for working with a full range of suppliers and customers.
This role offers scope for growth and development, where each day will be different.
Your ability to problem-solve and find solutions as part of the team will be critical.
We are looking for experienced individuals who have initially trained as a Joiner, have some experience in pricing, and want to develop into a broader business management role.
You should be good with people, show initiative, and be proactive in responding to situations as they arise.
Efficiency, attention to detail, and strong relationship-building skills with clients and architects/builders are essential.
In return, you will join a business where people are hard-working but know how to have fun.
This is a company where the team works as a cohesive group, and everyone is part of something great.
On offer is a competitive remuneration package, plus recognition and reward due to its focus on people.
Once established in the role, there will be an opportunity to buy a shareholding as part of the succession planning, securing your long-term future.
