Join us as a IT Support Technician - 5 months • At Schindler, we have a great culture that is supportive and inclusive
• Based in Grafton / Avondale, Auckland - Fixed full-time position
• We are passionate about giving our employees the opportunity to grow their career within Schindler. About the role As an IT Support Technician, you will be the onsite and remote go-to expert for technology related issues and requests for our staff. This role is ideal for someone with field experience in computer networks, strong office administration skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
This position is a temporary full time role for 5 months.
Your role will include:
- Setup, deploy and change management for laptops and mobile devices.
- Providing technical support including the maintenance of system, networks, and software
- Performing daily back-ups of servers and database
- Support IT admin related tasks.
- Providing IT troubleshooting / helpdesk service under supervision
- Arranging user training (Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook, Lotus Notes, and mobile devices), eg password, OS and software update.
- Providing technical support including the maintenance of copiers and phone system
What we are looking for: Degree in computer science, electronics and/or IT experience equivalent Experience in Server, VMware virtualization, Backup and Network Management.
Experience in Onsite User Support.
Experience in Lotus/HCL Domino management and HCL Notes client support.
Experience in office collaboration with Microsoft 365.
Have troubleshooting skills with mobile devices (Android and Apple) and VC equipment including MS Teams Rooms
Deliver outstanding customer service by taking ownership of incidents, requests, problems, projects, and changes efficiently and effectively.
Ability to manage different actors/stakeholders, with different priority
Eligibility to work permanently in New Zealand (citizen or permanent resident)
