Our client is a Christchurch-based managed Services Provider for clients in industries heavily reliant upon computing, such as media, engineering, professional services, and technology. They strongly value integrity and excellence, along with accountability and commitment. They are looking for an IT Support & Sales Coordinator to join their team. This is a unique hybrid role combining sales and quoting, managed services, and desktop support. It is the perfect role for an IT-savvy self-starter to develop their career in the industry. Service desk experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to understand IT issues and identify solutions is ideal; however, possessing outstanding communication and teamwork skills is critical. The successful candidate will possess the ability to engage with clients, be flexible, and be able to take a big-picture view while remaining calm under pressure. Responsibilities include: Sales & Quoting - reviewing sales mailbox for renewals, creating quotes in Kaseya Quote Manager, discussing requirements with customers, and quoting. (approx. 20% of role) Managed Services - reviewing monitoring mailbox, reviewing remote management, and monitoring system each day for issues, addressing and escalating issues. (approx. 20% of role) Desktop & Cloud Services - ensuring client queries via telephone or email are logged promptly, accurately, completed in a timely fashion within agreed service levels, and documentation and ticket systems are updated. (approx. 60% of role) Technical Skills we are looking for: Windows 11 Microsoft 365 Networking Mobile Devices Solid understanding of cyber security in a user context Familiar with MAC and other cloud solutions, such as Google, Dropbox Ideally, you also have experience with remote monitoring/management, have worked with ticketing systems, and have an interest in developing your knowledge and experience in utilizing AI technology.
