It Service Desk Technician

In this role, your ability to provide exceptional customer service will take centre stage as you support a wide range of IT and logistics systems that help track products globally. Our Technology Delivery team works over a varied environment, ranging from traditional IT solutions, serverless cloud-based solutions through to mobile technology that supports cutting-edge logistics systems that track our customers' products across the world.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Service Desk Technician who is keen to learn and looking to build their skills and knowledge in the IT field. You will be the outward face of our forward-thinking team as the first point of contact to support our staff with their IT needs, which could be hardware, software or network-related issues. You will monitor our ticket management system, triage tickets, and escalate more complex issues to specialised staff. Your role will also provide support and training to users on IT processes and tools, as well as maintaining documentation on procedures and asset management.
To be considered for this role you will need:
A willingness to learn by starting at the bottom and working your way upGood working knowledge or certification/training in CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft 365 certified, CompTIA Network+ will be an advantageA good working knowledge of Windows 10/11, including troubleshooting common desktop issuesKnowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite, in particular troubleshooting Outlook, Teams and SharePointActive Directory (AD) knowledge on how to manage user accountsRemote Desktop tool familiarity with tools like TeamViewer, Microsoft Remote Desktop or similarUnderstanding of basic networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP & wireless troubleshootingFamiliarity with common antivirus software & security best practices for detecting malware & phishing attacksC3 is a business on the go, with offices located on the foreshore of Tauranga Harbour, in one of New Zealand's fastest growing regions, with over 1200 staff around New Zealand and Australia.
