Work from home up to two days per week Based at our Wellington National Office Mo te tunga | About the role The Digital team are currently looking for IT Service Analyst to join the team here at Ara Poutama. The team provide a range of services to support the delivery of Corrections' core business and are a tight-knit dedicated team who provide excellent support to a national organisation. This is a key role where you'll be the bridge between internal stakeholders and external providers. Your main job is to create a smooth channel for requests, working closely with external providers to streamline processes and cut costs where possible. Keeping a watchful eye on non-service desk requests, ensuring they are delivered by providers efficiently. You will also collaborate with customers to align requests with internal policies and audit requirements. Your role isn't just about processing requests - you'll also be instrumental in resolving issues with product providers in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring coordination within the wider IT team. Build effective relationships with providers, striking a balance between collaboration and challenge to achieve optimal outcomes for the Department. We are looking for someone with excellent initiative and interpersonal skills, and who has great attention to detail and strong prioritisation and time management skills.?Lateral thinking and excellent soft skills are important for the role. Specifically, we will be looking for evidence and examples within your written application against the following essential requirements: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven ability to work effectively in a busy team with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with internal stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills. The midpoint of the salary range is $88,576 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $75,290 - $106,292 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
