Role type: Fixed term, full time through to May 2026Salary range: $127,472 to $149,240 depending on skills and experienceThis is an essential position in our Corporate Services, Business Information and Technology Services Directorate. You will be responsible for successfully managing and delivering MPI's SharePoint Digital Migration project. This programme of work will enable staff to work efficiently and productively enabling MPI to deliver its core functions with ease.Specific responsibilities of this role include:Managing the delivery from inception to completion.Working closely with our SharePoint Specialists and ICT business partners.Managing internal resources, vendors/suppliers/partners, project objectives.Providing updates on expected benefits, risks, issues, and financials.Preparing and presenting quality reporting to key stakeholders on project governance boards.You ideally will have experience leading and managing digital projects or programmes of work within a large government agency, or experience in a comparable ICT Project Management role of a complex nature with vendor management a core component of delivery. Knowledge and delivery of a SharePoint cloud migration is preferred.To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:Sound knowledge of project management techniques and frameworks and the ability to apply these.Exceptional stakeholder management skills (senior leadership, technical subject matter experts, business subject matter experts, vendors/suppliers/partners).Proven leadership skills, with a focus on leading project teams to successful outcomes.The role of Business Technology & Information Services (BT&IS) is to enable business technology solutions and deliver high-quality, cost-effective information & technology services to Ministry staff and external stakeholders.
