About the Role:
We are looking for an IT Engineer to provide specialist support to one of our key clients.
You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.
This role has an on-site component for the client and is Wellington based.
You will report to the Chapter lead within the Digital Workplace Team responsible for managing enterprise and government accounts.
Day to day you will be involved in:
Own and resolve operational problems with the Problem manager.
Maintain the risk register with the Customers Operations manager.
Write and improve the team's standard operational procedure documents and Wiki.
Generate Reports on usage and present these to the customer as required.
Identify technical improvements to operational activities when required.
Working independently, when required, as part of a project team.
Writing and presenting changes in a Technical Change advisory meeting.
Undertake all work in a safe manner and follow all company and workplace health and safety procedures.
Demonstrate strong effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong familiarity with cloud platform specific Well Architected Frameworks.
Experienced in Azure, M365, Enterprise Applications.
Microsoft System Centre (SCCM, SCOM, SCEP, Orchestrator, etc.) management and monitoring products.
Scripting in one or more languages e.g., PowerShell, CLI.
Experience supporting Windows Infrastructure and Servers covering the following:
Windows Server Operating Systems.
Certificate services/Public Key Infrastructure.
