Milestone IT is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join a dynamic IT team for a large organisation in central Auckland. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for technology and a commitment to providing exceptional support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end-users, both through ticketing systems and walk-in requests.Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution.Assist in managing and maintaining physical networks, including routers and switches.Work passionately to enhance user experience and support initiatives.Document support interactions and maintain accurate records.Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in a desktop support or very similar role.Familiarity with network components, including routers and switches.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels.Proficiency in using ticketing systems for tracking support requests.Additional Information: Immediate start.This is a 12-month ongoing initial contract role.If you are looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
