Isc International Operations Specialist

We're looking for an International Operations Specialist to join our supply chain team here in New Zealand reporting to our NZ National Landside Logistics Manager.
The Opportunity
To be a key player in a strong international logistic team. As our International Operations Specialist, you will execute the operational tasks required to import goods into NZ.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and collaborate with Freight forwarders and Third-party suppliers to utilise services offered in order to deliver sustainable and competitive solutions in terms of cost and availability for international goods movement. It is a hybrid Auckland based role that will require 3-4 days in the office on any given week.
About the Role
Key responsibilities:
Proactive communication to internal & external stakeholders (Replenishment, Buying and DCs / Vendors & 3PLs).
Completion of daily queries in the International Operations Inbox.
Identification and escalation of inefficiencies in the global supply chain.
Analysis of planned arrivals to ensure on time delivery and cost optimisation.
Execute QBRs and prepare pack and data.
Supporting Improvement and Buying Projects.
Supporting opportunities with the Customs brokerage team.
About You
You are customer-centric and will bring great energy and enthusiasm to the role, demonstrating care and commitment to customers and team members. Building rapport with ease and strong relationships with our team members and customers. Together with demonstrated success in a similar role, we are seeking the following skills and experience:
5 years experience of International Supply Chain, specially tailored to port and landside Operations.
Conflict resolution skills - The ability to problem solve and reach agreement with stakeholders with the goal of a positive outcome.
Ability to assess situations and advise stakeholders on opportunities, solutions and outcomes.
Demonstrates influencing, negotiation, and decision making skills.
Advanced knowledge of Google Suite and Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup.
Strong understanding of retail, buying and replenishment.
Customs compilation, clearance and brokerage experience (desirable).
