We're currently seeking an experienced Inwards Goods Manager to join the team. As a department manager, you'll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community. This role will require either early morning or night shifts. The Role As Inwards Goods Manager you will be responsible for ensuring our stockroom runs efficiently and that all inward goods and stock is processed accurately and on time. Ensuring stock is efficiently unloaded, while ensuring Health & Safety standards are met Breaking down pallets and marking off stock appropriately Managing the storeroom team including rostering, managing leave and performance Putting away or restacking as needed and ensuring departments are aware of deliveries Adhering to the Food Safety Plan and ensuring that all standards are met Making sure discrepancies are accounted for and dealt with appropriately Maintaining Health & Safety Requirements in the Storeroom Maintaining security of the Inwards Goods and rear store/yard area Ensuring the Inwards Goods and rear store/yard are kept clean and tidy Ensuring Forklifts and equipment pre-start checks and general condition is maintained and issues are reported What's in it for you?
