With a brand-new store and impressive offering across butchery, seafood, bakery, deli, produce, grocery and liquor, we can't wait to open our doors to the East Auckland community!We're currently seeking an experienced Inwards Goods Manager to join the team. As a department manager, you'll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community.This role will require either early morning or night shifts.The RoleAs Inwards Goods Manager you will be responsible for ensuring our stockroom runs efficiently and that all inward goods and stock is processed accurately and on time.Ensuring stock is efficiently unloaded, while ensuring Health & Safety standards are metBreaking down pallets and marking off stock appropriatelyManaging the storeroom team including rostering, managing leave and performancePutting away or restacking as needed and ensuring departments are aware of deliveriesAdhering to the Food Safety Plan and ensuring that all standards are metMaking sure discrepancies are accounted for and dealt with appropriatelyMaintaining Health & Safety Requirements in the StoreroomMaintaining security of the Inwards Goods and rear store/yard areaEnsuring the Inwards Goods and rear store/yard are kept clean and tidyEnsuring Forklifts and equipment pre-start checks and general condition is maintained and issues are reportedWhat's in it for you?If successful, you will join a business that prides itself on being 100% New Zealand owned and operated, become a part of a great community and be a part of Highland Park's success from day 1!What we're looking for:Current forklift and reach truck licensePrevious storeroom experience within a supermarket/FMCG environmentAbility to work at pace and prioritise workloadPhysically fit and able to lift 20kg+A team player with strong leadership skillsBe committed to health & safety and respectful of our policies
