We're seeking to expand our Christchurch-based team with individuals who resonate with our story and share our dedication to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the prosthetics industry.The Opportunity: QA Inwards Goods InspectorThe TASKA Hand is a complex high-tech product with a reputation for robustness and reliability. The assembly of our products and reputation of TASKA as a brand relies on the production of the highest quality, and as such, our Inwards Good Inspector role is essential.The successful applicant will become a valuable member of the Quality team, working alongside some of the best in the industry. Reporting to the Head of Quality, the successful applicant will be responsible to ensure all incoming parts are inspected to ensure that production components meet engineering specifications in order to ensure a high degree in quality of the finished products.The main things you'll be responsible for include:Inspection of incoming material for conformance against dimensional drawings and specifications as outlined by the engineering department.Raising non-conforming parts to quality for further investigation and advising purchasing if order replacement is required.Receipting and labelling parts through Netsuite and/or supporting processes.Making sure all tools, equipment and documentation are up to date and in suitable condition for quality inspections.Reporting any quality jeopardising behaviour, equipment or procedures.About youYou're an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.You have high attention to detail.You're experienced with inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, multi-meters etc) and reading technical drawings.You're open to change and are willing to adapt according to our rapidly evolving environment.You're familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite.You possess strong initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving.You're willing to get stuck in, learn and make a difference.What's in it for you?The opportunity to work with a company that is making a real difference to people's lives within a multi-disciplinary, experienced and very supportive team.We operate Monday – Friday with flexible working hours, offer a competitive pay rate, and value your unique contributions to the team.If you're passionate about making a difference while working with cutting-edge technology, apply with a personalised cover letter and CV explaining what attracts you to TASKA and why you think you'd be a great fit for our team.
