Inwards Goods Inspector

Details of the offer

Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Full time
The inspiration for TASKA Prosthetics started in 2002, after our founder Mat Jury broke both his arms in a mountain biking accident. Those injuries limited Mat's ability to interact with the world but gave him an insight into everyday reality for people with permanent limb loss. This resulted in Mat's passion for the prosthetics industry, and his subsequent robotic prosthetic hand designs.
Today, TASKA Prosthetics produces award-winning, multi-articulated myoelectric prosthetic hands; a complex blend of technology, design, and engineering that has established itself as an international market leader.
But the product is only one part of the company. We are deeply committed to our values that foster a culture of care , collaboration , courage , and excellence . Our ambition to innovate and challenge the status quo drives us forward, and we are continually growing. We're seeking to expand our Christchurch-based team with individuals who resonate with our story and share our dedication to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the prosthetics industry.
The Opportunity: QA Inwards Goods Inspector
The TASKA Hand is a complex high-tech product with a reputation for robustness and reliability. The assembly of our products and reputation of TASKA as a brand relies on the production of the highest quality, and as such, our Inwards Good Inspector role is essential.
The successful applicant will become a valuable member of the Quality team, working alongside some of the best in the industry. Reporting to the Head of Quality, the successful applicant will be responsible to ensure all incoming parts are inspected to ensure that production components meet engineering specifications in order to ensure a high degree in quality of the finished products.

You're an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
You have high attention to detail.
