About the role This is an exciting time for the Trents team as we transition to a standalone wholesale business.
Our expanding distribution and Cash'nCarry teams are focused on delivering excellence to our network of national and regional customers across the city and throughout Otago.
This role is key to the success of our growing business, and we can offer an immediate start.
Hours of operation are 5am to 1.30pm across Monday to Saturday.
You will need your own reliable transport due to the start time for this role.
Full time (40 hours) within the above operating hours; however, we can consider both part time and full time roles and we may be able to offer flexibility in start and finish times for the right candidates.
This role unloads inwards deliveries, loads our trucks for same-day delivery, completes stock putaway (including chilled and frozen) and other warehouse duties.
What you'll bring Minimum six months experience in a warehouse or distribution role.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Effective communications and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
A good level of physical fitness is required as these roles involve regular lifting of up to 20 kgs.
Ability to get stuck in and work well with others.
Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
Reliable and punctual.
Current Forklift Licence with F endorsement.
