Inwards Goods Assistant Manager (2IC) – Pak'NSave Highland Park We're excited to announce that Pak'nSave Highland Park will be joining the community February 2025! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across butchery, seafood, bakery, deli, produce, grocery, and liquor, we can't wait to open our doors to the East Auckland community! We're currently seeking an experienced Inwards Goods Assistant Manager to join the team. As a department leader, you'll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community. This role will require either early morning or night shifts. The Role As Inwards Goods 2IC you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring our stockroom runs efficiently and that all inwards goods and stock is processed accurately and on time. Working alongside the Inwards Goods Manager, you'll assist in the day-to-day operations of the department. Ensuring stock is efficiently unloaded, while ensuring Health & Safety standards are met. Breaking down pallets and marking off stock appropriately. Putting away or restacking as needed and ensuring departments are aware of deliveries. Adhering to the Food Safety Plan and ensuring that all standards are met. Making sure discrepancies are accounted for and dealt with appropriately. Maintaining Health & Safety Requirements in the Storeroom. Maintaining security of the Inwards Goods and rear store/yard area. Ensuring the Inwards Goods and rear store/yard are kept clean and tidy. Ensuring Forklifts and equipment pre-start checks and general condition is maintained and issues are reported. What's in it for you? What we're looking for: Current forklift and reach truck license. Previous storeroom experience within a supermarket/FMCG environment. Ability to work at pace and prioritize workload.
