We work in partnership with other funding teams to achieve successful science outcomes for New Zealand.We have two fixed-term or secondment vacancies.For the 4-month fixed term or secondment role, we are looking for someone with great attention to detail and experience in using business applications to assist with contract data verification and other tasks.
What we can offer you is the opportunity to learn about science funding contracts and processes.For the 12-month fixed-term or secondment role, you will work with the team on the timeline planning and coordination of funding rounds across a range of MBIE's science investment portfolios, and provide specialised business support for funding processes and contract administration.
We work collaboratively with a team of people across the organisation to ensure that science funding rounds are planned, coordinated and delivered, while following the best practice for funding and contracting.

Previous relevant technical experience is beneficial.A proven track record of experience in project planning and coordination and business processing support.
