We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Ponsonby store as an Inventory Team Member. This role will see you be with our customers all the way, delivering exceptional customer service and assisting them in choosing products according to their needs.
What you'll deliver: Creating moments of 'surprise' and 'delight' to make our customers feel valued, and ensuring they know we've got their back.Ensure product is accurately tracked in-store and replenished as required, so that high merchandise standards can be maintained, enabling a seamless experience for our customers.Smooth management of the inventory systems to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.Collaborate with management to achieve department targets.Compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures that govern the store's activities as they relate to your role, including Health & Safety guidelines and procedures.Replenish product throughout the day maintaining high merchandise presentation standards and enable a seamless experience for our customers.Your background will include: Proven expertise in managing inventory, ideally within a complex or large retailer.Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.Be open to learning and look for ways to continuously improve.Present yourself positively, through personal presentation and attitude.Ability to supervise and coach, building trust and respect within the store.Outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills.If you are a highly motivated individual who is passionate about being part of the Mitre 10 team and a company in growth mode, then we want to hear from you.
