Reporting to the Operations Manager, you lead a team responsible for controlling inventory and the accuracy of stock levels of all goods throughout the business and warehousing process at all our Auckland facilities.Key responsibilities include:Management of our inventory teams across 4 sites.Ensure up to date physical and WMS inventory alignment.Support warehouse operations and manage and develop inventory controllers in their roles.Maintain a strong customer focus and uphold service excellence standards in all interactions.Effectively manage, prioritise, and meet key deadlines to ensure smooth operations, including reporting, stock accuracy and efficiency and continuous improvements.Support warehouse managers in the management of all inventory operational costs.Manage and deliver on all assigned inventory projects.Skills and experienceThe ideal candidate will possess the below skills & experience:Strong inventory management experience with an advanced understanding of all inventory operations, systems, and the health and safety regulations applicable to this industry.Team management experience with a planning and outcomes based focus.Advanced MS Office skill-set with the ability to analyse and report on all inventory related data.An eye for detail and proficiency in accuracy and recording.A proactive and problem solving approach to inventory management.Ability to work well with and lead a team.Proven reliability & attitude.Neat and accurate written paperwork and numeracy.Ongoing training & professional development.
