Our space systems business includes our extensive line of satellites and components that have enabled more than 1,700 missions including the James Webb Space Telescope, NASA Psyche Mission, Artemis I, Mars Ingenuity helicopter, and more.Rocket Lab's Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials, products, and components through the business. With many of our own products functioning as critical components to our own and our customers' missions, the Supply Chain team has a direct impact on the success of our rocket and satellite programs. In this role, you will set up the assembly kits that enable our technicians to put together our Electron rockets, manage inventory, look after shipping, manage direct and indirect procurement, and inspect and ensure that all of our materials and products are compliant and up to standard. They are the chain that links our teams together and are critical to our success.WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:As an Inventory Coordinator, you'll work with a variety of teams contributing to our upcoming missions. In our workshop, you'll be across our innovative divisions and you'll get to see our latest rockets under development. You'll play your part in ensuring all our trusted experts are supported with the stock (tools and parts) required for the role. To be successful in this role, we are looking for an organised team player who likes to be on their feet, someone that takes pride and is versatile to lend a hand to meet deadlines. You will own your space to ensure stock levels are satisfactory and that the team has everything they need. There is plenty of variety in the role to keep you busy and ample opportunity to learn lots and make some connections along the way. As a team, you'll contribute to the picking, packing, and dispatching, ensuring all items have been securely checked and sent where they need to be.
