From there, the family moved to the Waikato area in the 1920's and developed over 150 hectares of Orchards with an associated packhouse close by.In the early 2000's, the Business moved operations to the Hawkes Bay and established over 350 hectares of Orchards.
We grow, pack and market apples, pears and stone fruit.In 2018 we opened a very new modern packhouse and cool storage facility in Hastings.Our Success is measured by delivering quality produce to our customers locally and world wide, on time and to specification, all year round.We are looking for an experienced Individual with a strong background in Inventory Management and who is keen to join us full time.
Previous experience in the Horticulture Industry would be an advantage.This is a busy role but know you are supported by a great Team around you.
If Inventory is your passion and you have the skills to match, we would love to hear from you.The key skills we are looking for are;- Working closely with the Warehouse and Operations Team to optimize Inventory levels- A strong understanding of stock control, packaging and planning processes- Maintaining a high Inventory accuracy- Minimize Stock Variances- Prepare and review Inventory reports and manage bin flow reporting- Report on Inventory errors, aged stock, damages and stock adjustments- Have excellent time management and organizational skills- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in relevant computer systems.- To be flexible and juggle multiple priorities but remain calm under pressure- To be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and have excellent written and verbal communication skillsWe are looking for someone who is dedicated to their role, the ability to be at work every day, on time, to work the hours and times specified plus work extra hours in our Season if required.
