As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels at our Distribution Centre and ensuring matching of transactions and stock levels between the Warehouse Management System (Manhattan Scale) and SAP. This role involves monitoring inventory movements, conducting regular stock audits, reconciling variances, and implementing inventory control procedures to minimise discrepancies and optimise stock levels.

The Inventory Controller will be responsible for: Inventory Management:Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, operational efficiency and minimise overstock or stockouts.Stock Audits:Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.System and Interface Monitoring:Monitor interfaces between the WMS and other systems, identify any stuck or missing records or transactions, and undertake corrective actions.Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyse inventory data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Generate reports on inventory performance and provide actionable insights.Coordination and Collaboration:Collaborate with finance, systems, warehouse, and retail teams to coordinate inventory activities and resolve any issues related to stock discrepancies.Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement:Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in inventory management.About you: To be successful in this role you will need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in inventory control or warehouse management.A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration would be beneficial.Technical proficiency in inventory / warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.Proficient organisational and time management skills.Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in assessing and effectively mitigating risk.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.An appreciation for the importance of Health and Safety in the workplace.How to Apply Click apply now to apply online.
