Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of rural and isolated youth and adults?
The Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust (RYALT) is looking for a dedicated volunteer to provide free, one-on-one reading and writing coaching to those who don't have access to a main Literacy Centre.
Your role will be vital in maintaining the quality and integrity of our volunteer team.In this role, you'll conduct referee checks on new volunteers, interview new potential Literacy coaches, and perform exit interviews, then report your findings back to our Volunteer Coordinator.
Your contribution will play a key part in maintaining the quality of our team and gathering important insights from outgoing volunteers.Additionally, if you're interested, you can also join our outbound contact centre team, making calls to various organizations to spread the word about our services.
All calls are made using our free internet app (VOIP) from your home computer or mobile phone, with no cost to you.We'll provide you with all the tools you need, including a call script, training, and ongoing support from our Community Support Coordinator.
A computer and internet access are required to enter your comments into a spreadsheet, but we'll take care of the rest.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the comfort of your home and also build experience in administration and communication.

This volunteer role offers flexibility but is more suited to a long-term commitment and therefore not suitable for people who are looking for employment.
