Java Develop ment Project You will be joining the Tait PCB Team , who are responsible for designing printed c i rcuit b oards and publishing the outputs to internal customers.
Our Java Development project is an opportunity to build on your existing experience, learn something new, and gain experience within a global or ganisation.
This project will involve: Migrating a Tomcat server to a new Windows Server Re-configur ing Java software to correctly perform on the new server Document ing all changes and configurations Identifying and m ak ing small enhancements and improvements to code to provide an improved user experience You will be making a difference by updating and reconfiguring code that supports several Web applications that enhance the work of the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design team , by managing work requests and presenting data/drawings to end users .
To be successful we would like candidates to have: Software development experience Strong Java development skills Experience with Tomcat servers on Windows Server environments.
Y ou will also be self-motivated and capable of indepen dent problem solving , a nd demonstrat e your enthusiasm for providing a good exper ience to users of the dynamic web pages that the code drives.

If study has been completed , the closing date of your final semester should be less than 12 months ago Be studying science , technology , engineering , design or business at a New Zealand tertiary education institute Be legally permitted to work in New Zealand Not have undertaken more than two Experience Grant internships with the same business This is a fixed term paid summer internship position for 400 hours, commencing in November 202 4 .
