Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to start as soon as possible.The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with young people, is a confident communicator, with the ability to market the school successfully to overseas agents and families. They will be able to relate well to students, parents, and school staff to ensure that our International Students receive the best educational experience possible.Previous experience in the area will be an advantage. You will have the ability to:Produce strategic plans and budgets for the departmentPlan, organise and undertake marketing trips, both overseas and within New ZealandEnsure the programme's compliance with The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021Recruit and enrol international studentsOversee the pastoral care and academic progress of the international studentsPlan and organise events and activity programmes for the international students throughout the yearLead the international team, including completing staff appraisals and being involved in the staff recruitment process and contribute effectively to the Support Services Leaders TeamUse a variety of computer programmes and databases.
