Te aheinga: The opportunity Imagine this… In this crucial frontline role, you'll provide professional and culturally aware customer service to our diverse range of students, including:
Offering pastoral care support for our International StudentsManaging risks and providing solutions to situations students might encounter during their studiesOverseeing student attendance and other Code of Practice requirementsYou are a positive and energetic individual with a desire to learn Te Reo Maori, Tikanga Maori, and Kaupapa Maori values.
You have over 12 months of customer-facing experience and are skilled in problem-solving and working independently.
You excel in cross-cultural communication, have intermediate skills in enterprise systems like PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office, and possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
You also have experience with international student visas.
Minimum Requirements: Tertiary qualificationExperience in international student advisory roles and tertiary educationFamiliarity with databases or CRM systemsKnowledge of NZQA Code of Practice and international insurance processesYour ability to create inclusive environments and your strong communication skills make you a valuable asset.
