Established NZ Company and Market Leading ProductsThe Opportunity Reporting to the Managing Director and part of the New Zealand senior Leadership team, you will lead a small Sales & Marketing team managing all components of sales management, business development, marketing and communications for the company, its brand, and products. Your role is crucial in maintaining and growing the organisation's sales, brand, customer base and reach internationally. Key international markets include the NZ/Australian/Americas/Japan.
You will be working with market leading products and for a company that is committed to keeping their products at the forefront of their market. The company/products are well known and respected within their sector in the global market. It exports 95%+ of their products.

The Company Wyma, www.wymasolutions.com, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of post-harvest vegetable and fruit handling equipment. Wyma is based in Christchurch (where it has recently moved into a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility), with operations in Australia, UK, and Czech Republic. It has been further strengthened in May 2023 when acquired by MHM Automation Limited, who is a global Agritech organisation, headquartered in New Zealand. They design and supply products and services to Agricultural customers with a focus in the meat, dairy, grain, and horticulture sectors.

About This Role It's a newly created role, which is both strategic and tactical. There is the focus on the big picture while also executing on the day-to-day needs across all aspects of Sales and Marketing.
You will work closely with your Sales team to understand each market and identify the right sales and marketing approach for each market. You will focus on acquiring and retaining new customers to increase marketing's contribution to revenue and achieve success.
This role will see you owning current marketing strategy as well as overseeing the delivery of engaging marketing campaigns that generate new business leads and additional revenue opportunities for the business. There is a strong digital focus for marketing.
Your Experience and Skills You will have several of the following:
Strong leadership skills who can provide guidance, direction and coach staff and/or dealers to improve their knowledge, skill and performance.Ability to work in an international B2B and/or CE environment.Successful history and/or demonstrated capability in selling high value solutions into an international market, ideally in capital equipment/machinery solutions or similar.Experience with Sales Process Management & Consultative Selling – ideally with products such as capital equipment, machinery, materials handling systems, fruit handling systems, and/or food processing industry.Sound understanding and practical, hands-on capability for developing tactical and practical marketing plans/activities for markets.Understanding of marketing processes particularly for website management, digital marketing, CRM & trade shows.Financial reporting and forecasting of ROI on Sales and Marketing investments.You need to have the ability and willingness to travel as required.Sound like you?
