Green School New Zealand seeks a dynamic mission-aligned professional to assume the crucial role of International Admissions & Student Recruitment Officer. This role is usually the first Green School employee with whom prospective families from around the world will engage. As such, it is imperative that this first voice and face of Green School is warm, mission-aligned and knowledgeable, creating advocates from every encounter.
The post holder is responsible for growing, nurturing and processing worldwide applications from first contact to enrolment. This includes supporting, reviewing, and processing applications, issuing offers, dealing with applicant queries, managing fulfillment of conditions, and processing confirmation decisions. The role will also involve conducting and coordinating School recruitment events and having a presence within different communities advocating for our Green School Experience.

Responsibilities and Tasks GSNZ Student Recruitment Strategy & Execution Support the Admission Marketing Communications Team & Head of School in the implementation of student recruitment strategies  Develop positive working relationships & customer experiences that lead to the recruitment of best-fit learners & families for Green School New Zealand. Communicate with other Green Schools Admissions Teams to share best practices
GSNZ Student Recruitment Establish and maintain positive, trusting and open relationships with all prospective families from New Zealand and around the world. Nurture and guide families through the application process, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate, complete and uploaded into the School Admissions Management System (Open Apply) to ensure a moving pipeline of students in a timely manner.  Acquire and communicate a deep knowledge of the School's mission and vision, ethos and offerings.  Answer enquiries about the School, its ethos and it's curriculum with warmth, confidence and accuracy. Communicate decisions to applicants, including offers, which are legally binding, within agreed time frames.  Assess and communicate to the families the fee status of applicants, classifying them as domestic or international as appropriate. This has legal implications. Ensures compliance with the requirements for GSNZ and all relevant government authorities for student enrolment.  Manage and update the Student recruitment master Excel sheet to track enrollment numbers diligently and inform Finance, Head of School, and the Governing Body with timely, accurate enrollment numbers Collaborate with the Heads of Learning Neighbourhoods our student numbers per year level with enrollment- and expected rotation numbers. Provide recommendations for improvement of the admissions process or experience  Build a reminder system in Open Apply for response to offers sent out, with reminders after 3,5 and 7 days after offer is received. GSNZ enrollment meetings & conversations Build a tight and trusted relationship with the Head of School, Heads of Learning Neighbourhoods, and liaise with School teachers and staff Plan and take part in enrollment conversations- and interviews with the Learning Neighbourhood Heads and Head of School Take parent online calls for questions and clarification of the enrollment process (converse in multiple languages)
GSNZ Student Recruitment Events, visits & Experiences  Plan and conduct in-person Campus Admissions Visit for Applicants Plan and conduct large-scale school Open Day events Conducting and coordinating School recruitment events and having a presence within different communities advocating for our Green School Experience.  Support online or virtual student recruitment activities and experiences Support new families' orientation  Other activities and projects set by the Head of School Travel for events out of town may be required    Represent GSNZ at events that have potential recruitment
Coordination with Teams Tuition/Billing Fee coordination with Finance Coordinate with admin/teaching teams to ensure timely/accurate student/family information is provided and updated on OA/Hero   Sharing no photo list, updating & sharing parent directory (within privacy/sharing policies) Sharing information on departing students and collaborating with appropriate teams to ensure personalised offboarding experience Have regular meetings with Green School International Admission, Marketing & Communications Team  KPIs Student enrollment number, Green School New Zealand Accomplish the budgeted enrollment target for Green School
New Zealand Student enrollment number and fill rate in Green School New Zealand  Accomplish the budgeted enrollment target for Green School New Zealand Parent onboarding satisfaction (Net Promotor Score)  Achieve a high NPS rating from onboarding parents in general Teamwork with the AMC team Support the entire Customer Journey for the whole Admissions, Marketing and Communication team, as well as our most important stakeholders in Finance and Faculty Candidate Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bilingual with knowledge of multiple languages (Spanish preferred, ability to converse in a third language) Have international experience in education recruitment Ideally have experience as an international student Have an awareness of Te Ao Maori perspectives  Have experience with high-level customer sales system management Sales and customer experience engineer Must be confident in delivering public presentations, hosting events, and fronting campaigns This position will require you to have flexibilty to answer requests in multiple global time zones  Be good at time-keeping  Live locally and as we are located rurally, a vehicle will be required to access the campus  You will need excellent communication skills together with the ability to quickly learn and master the workings of the School Admissions Management System (Open Apply), preferably you will have experience in this system or another advanced CRM. You will need a thorough understanding of New Zealand's immigration requirements and process Postgraduate qualifications (preferred)   Please note that under the Education Act of 1989 and the Children's Act 2014, a police vet will be required for this role
