Account & Relationship Management (Sales)This pivotal role plays an integral part in maximising sales opportunities, exceeding monthly targets and building long-term customer relationships.
You will be assigned your own customer base and then be responsible for building relationships and liaising with them on a regular basis.Key to the role will be understanding their needs and providing professional solutions, receiving and quoting on large orders, ordering products to specific time frames for their projects and communicating delivery times and availability of products where required.
A lot of scheduling and pulling together of information is required and this role is akin to a project management-style role.You will be juggling a number of tasks at any one time, along with problem solving, whilst ensuring everything operates smoothly and efficiently.
To do this, you will need to think quickly on your feet, be extremely well organised and able to prioritise, be service-driven and solution-oriented.
Your communication and time management skills will be paramount, and above all, customer service expertise will be crucial.This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week.
Working Monday to Friday with every third rostered Saturday.About you:Trade industry/plumbing knowledge and/or product experience would be hugely beneficial.Strong sales drive and resilience will be essential with a solutions-focused approach.Excellent communication skills and highly motivated.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport to support our valued customers.A motivated, self-driven worker, with the skill to work proactively, independently and under pressure.Be confident with computers and learning new systems.Please note – A pre-employment medical, including drug test and criminal background check is required as well as the legal right to work in NZ indefinitely.We are proud of the incredible diversity of people who make up our business!
