Internal Key Account Manager - East Tamaki

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role will see you supporting our largest commercial customer as an Internal Key Account Manager. This role also requires assisting the team with sales on the Trade Counter, Inwards Goods, Cycle Counting, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Customer Deliveries, Loading / Unloading and whatever else is necessary within the branch.Responsibilities:Understanding the key customers' needs and providing professional solutionsAnswering calls, emails and quoting ordersWorking with Site Managers to ensure specific time frames for their projects are metCommunicating delivery times and preparing orders ready for deliveryCommunicating with suppliers to check availability of productsEnsuring that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional serviceThis is a permanent full-time role, offering 42.5 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday and 1 Saturday every 3 weeks.About you:Experience in sales, quoting and price negotiatingCustomer-focused attitude with the ability to build rapport and form strong relationshipsYou will be an excellent communicator who is organised and adaptableTrade industry/plumbing knowledge and/or product experience would be hugely beneficial, however not essential, as it would be your positive attitude and willingness to learn that we would be looking forA motivated, self-driven person, with the skill to work proactively, independently and within a teamBe confident with computers and learning new systemsA Full New Zealand drivers' licence is essential for this rolePre-employment checks including references, medical, drug test and a criminal background check are required, as well as the legal right to work in NZ indefinitely.We are proud of the incredible diversity of people who make up our business!
