Internal/External Sales Representative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join our team here at Bearing Replacements Ltd. We are specialists in all manner of bearings and stock a wide range of Automotive, Engineering and Agricultural Parts. We are proudly 100% locally owned and operated.We are seeking an Internal/ External Sales Representative responsible for sales and account management functions.This role will suit a disciplined, balanced, self-motivated individual with a strong client focus, who preferably has a proven successful track record in growing a diverse customer base within the bearing and power transmission industry.Key Responsibilities:Calling on customers per call cycle (including out-of-town traveling).Identify and call on prospective customers.Organise and maintain daily call cycle plans for all customers under your responsibility.Provide timely quotations.Front counter customer service, answering and processing customer enquiries & orders via phone, email, and counter sales.Providing product support to a diverse customer base.Skills and Experience:Good organisational skills.A sales background in industrial, engineering or automotive would be an advantage.Good communication and writing skills.The ability to identify and capture new business opportunities with existing customers.A clean driver's license is essential.A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.A remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience.Your application will include the following questions: Do you have picker packer experience?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have in a client services/account management role?How many years' experience do you have as an External Sales Representative?Do you have customer service experience?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?Are you available to travel for this role when required?
