The Disney Live Events Team is dedicated to creating top-quality entertainment through Live Character appearances and events, delivering Magical experiences for Disney guests to support various key business objectives and the Disney, Disney-PIXAR, MARVEL and STAR WARS brands and franchises.
This internship will provide the opportunity to be part of the team that creates, develops, and produces Disney live character events of the highest standards while aligning with business goals, objectives and strategies across Southeast Asia, Middle East, North Africa, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Korea.
This role will also assist the costuming facility management and resource management as outlined below.
Responsibilities: Event Production Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure events operations run smoothly, plus character event requirements are met, and safety is not compromised.
Vendor liaison responsibilities to ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets.
Resource Management Support Monitor and coordinate our performer talent base within the region by keeping an ongoing, up-to-date database of performers in the region.
Assist and support the Assistant Manager for talent management (emcee, dancer, performer etc) for appearances or events when required.
Co-ordination of performer talent schedule and payment.
Costuming and Physical Assets Coordination Assist and support the Costuming department on costuming to meet event requirements.
Assist with costume operations when the need arises.
Overall Think creatively to produce new concepts/ideas, while working with available assets.
Complete one local Live Character event, from start to end.
Provide valuable insights and identify trends in the social media landscape today.
Internship Requirements: Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree.
Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period.
Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2025.

Requirements: Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
Knowledge or interest in event production or event management-related fields.
Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel.
Self-starter who needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organisation, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
Strategic thinker with good communication skills.
