Intermediate To Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Intermediate to Senior Electronics Design Engineer As an Electronics Design Engineer at Garmin, you will be responsible for analog, digital, and RF designs for products that are new for Garmin. You may serve as a Project Engineer, leading small projects or sub projects.
What you'll do:
Carry out complex schematic and PCB level product design including analog, digital and potentially RF circuits for products consisting of one or more PCBs.
Participate in design discussions between electronics, software, mechanical and project management teams.
Participate in project leadership and provide technical input to product development plans and concept documents.
Evaluate and test alternative and new technologies.
Direct and coordinate manufacture of prototypes.
Test prototype products at functional and detailed circuit level.
Plan and develop test procedures, scripts and programs to verify compliance to all applicable regulations and quality guidelines.
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced Design Engineers.
What you bring:
A university level qualification in electronics engineering and relevant experience: Master of Engineering Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Or, a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
Or a combination of education and relevant experience equivalent to the above requirements.

A high level of proficiency with complicated schematic and PCB design consisting of one or more PCBs.
Broad technical knowledge and skills in one or more areas of Electrical Engineering (e.g. analog, digital, RF, DSP, etc.).
Strong effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
