Through innovative compliance and advisory products and services, we ensure our clients feel understood, supported, & empowered in their financial endeavours, giving them peace of mind.We also take great pride in fostering an inclusive & enjoyable work environment where talented professionals aspire to work; our commitment extends to ensuring that our team members receive the same level of care and attention as our clients!About the roleThe Intermediate/ Senior Accountant goes beyond the traditional accounting firm role by proactively improving our service offerings and managing workflow from a top-level perspective.Your duties will include but not be limited to:Providing clients with professional services (accounting, tax, advisory) that meet their statutory responsibilities, ensuring all jobs are completed on a 'right first time' basis in line with practice standards.Supporting your Team Leader and/or Director as required by providing timely and accurate client file reviews for jobs undertaken by more junior accountants when needed.Assisting your Team Leader, Directors and other accounting staff to identify and minimise client business risks and enhance their business profitability.Promoting collaboration and continuous learning for our team.Building and maintaining strong coworker and client relationships.About youTo be successful in this role, you will need the following:+-20 hours pw (ideally P/T employed but we are also open to contract if preferred).New Zealand working rights or permanent residency.Sound accounting skills & ability to work well within a team.Qualified CA/ CPA/ ACCA, working towards, or qual by experience.Prior experience in a similar type of public/ professional practice preferred.Proficiency in the full Xero ecosystem or similar (incl.
