Due to demand for their fresh perspective and continued growth our client is currently looking for an experienced, collaborative Intermediate Structural Engineer.
You will have full New Zealand experience working on building structures, industrial, land and infrastructure with client liaison experience. A blend of office-based design work, site visits and construction monitoring.
AccountabilitiesComplex residential and commercial engineering designsInitial Seismic Assessments independently, Detailed Seismic AssessmentsConstruction monitoringBridge, culvert and underpass inspections and load capacity assessmentsMostly working independently but knowing when to ask for advice and supportManaging project budgets and invoicingOther duties as directed by management CompetenciesBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering3-6 Years Experience, with at least 2 years' experience with New Zealand standards and codes.Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Microstran and other structural design softwareNZ Driver's LicenseExperience navigating local authorities would be highly advantageous.
