This is where you come in! As a Software Engineer, you'll be a core member of an agile team, delivering software updates and technical changes to our product(s). You'll be interested in working out how to best solve technical and delivery challenges and help our technical leadership team with planning and scoping technical strategic work as well as software design and product work.
You'll adhere and contribute to our software standards. You'll identify where maintenance and technical debt are a problem and contribute to ensuring these are addressed in the backlog or when we do related work.
Primarily you'll work as part of an agile team to deliver changes as prioritised by the product owner.
What you'll bring. 2-5 years in a software engineering or equivalent role with experience in building SaaS softwareYou'll prefer working in small iterations, learning from experiments and see the value in DevOps principlesYou'll be familiar with delivery techniques that reduce risk such as feature flagging and partial deploysGood experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript and/or API Design.Some experience working with IaaS platforms e.g. Azure/AWSTeam player, must be able to work with others around themDemonstrable strong collaboration skills with other engineers across multiple disciplinesStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to translate technical concepts to less technical audiencesEmpathetic skills and ability to provide constructive feedback to others.Please note that applications won't be reviewed until after the 8th of January 2025.
