Intermediate / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Grada Recruitment have partnered with a leading Tier 1 Commercial Construction company in Wellington to help them secure a Quantity Surveyor to assist with a high-profile Commercial project in Wellington!

Base salary of $110K - $150K.
6% KiwiSaver contribution (on top of salary).

ABOUT THE ROLE?
Join the Commercial Manager & Senior QS on a high-profile Commercial project upwards of $200M.
Assist with all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting & cost control.
Working in a close-knit team of high-performing individuals that are happy to be at work.
Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, forecasts, and financial analysis to track project performance and inform decision-making.
Negotiate contracts and manage procurement activities to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS?
Must have 4 - 7 or more years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on medium/large Commercial Construction projects.
Proven track record leading all commercial aspects of a complex project.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to cost management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and negotiate effectively.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or similar.
Ideally RICS/NZIQS certified.
