An independent, employee-owned engineering consultancy is currently seeking an Intermediate/Senior Protection Engineer to join their growing team with a choice of locationacross multiple offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Tauranga. Key Responsibilities: Lead HV/MV distribution and transmission projects, developing protection schemes, settings, relay configuration files, and protection reports. Conduct power system analysis using tools such as DIgSILENT and Sincal. Collaborate with clients to identify optimal solutions and review protection design. Contribute to internal standards and mentor junior engineers in the field of protection engineering. Ideal Candidate: 8+ years of post-graduate experience in HV/MV protection engineering. Degree qualified in engineering (Washington Accord) with CPEng accreditation or working towards it. Technical proficiency in protection settings and power system analysis.
