This consultancy has built a reputation for solving some of New Zealand's most challenging geotechnical problems, and your expertise will be key to their continued success.What's on OfferLead and contribute to high-profile engineering projects, with opportunities to work across residential, commercial, dam engineering, and mining industries.Join a company that invests in your professional development and offers a clear pathway for advancement.Tackle technically complex and rewarding projects across New Zealand and beyond.Your Key ResponsibilitiesConduct and oversee geotechnical investigations and analysis.Provide detailed technical advice and practical solutions to geotechnical challenges.Prepare, review, and present technical reports to clients and stakeholders.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive, learning-oriented work culture.Build strong relationships with clients, maintaining the consultancy's reputation for excellence.What We're Looking ForA degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus).5–8+ years of experience in New Zealand with exposure across dam engineering projects.Chartered engineer status in New Zealand, or actively working towards this.Proficiency in geotechnical analysis and software tools.Strong project management skills with the ability to lead projects and deliver results.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and client engagement.A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to technical excellence.With a busy Christmas schedule ahead, our client is looking to screen and shortlist interested candidates with the aim of setting up first round interviews in late January 2025.
