It's fair to say that our exceptional people are at the heart of our success.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in our Auckland office. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on the delivery of some of HG's biggest projects and contribute towards our vision of being the #1 urban development partner in Aotearoa. We are set for a busy 2025 and have a varied pipeline of work including residential, urban re-construction, infrastructure, and commercial developments that shape the future of our local communities.Key responsibilities:Work on the delivery of civil engineering projects from initial concept design through to construction completion, ensuring design excellence and that projects are completed within budget, on time, and to a high standard.Ensure innovative design solutions that balance human, financial and environmental needs.Maintain existing client relationships and contribute towards business development initiatives such as identifying opportunities and writing proposals to enhance HG's future project prospects.Play a key role in shaping better urban development for a diverse range of public and private clients across Aotearoa.Your skills and experienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.4+ years consulting experience with a background in delivering land development projects.Proficiency in either 12D or Civil 3D design software.Demonstrated experience in contract management.Excellent verbal and written communications skills plus the ability to establish collaborative relationships at multiple levels.Personal leadership, motivation, and self-management skills.Why join HG?We invest in our people.
