Intermediate/Senior Accounting

Location: Matamata Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled High Intermediate to Senior Accountant to join our team and take on a range of responsibilities critical to the success of our firm. The Accountant will be expected to perform the following tasks:
Sorting of client financial recordsCoding of financial dataDiscussing queries with clientsPreparation of GST returnsPrepare work papers file for annual accountsPreparing and reviewing financial statementsPrepare Income Tax returnsFinalizing Financial Statements and Income Tax returns following partner reviewSorting out ACC issues with clientsCommunicating with IRD regarding client affairsOther ad hoc advisory jobs for clients as requiredOther miscellaneous jobs around the officeQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA, etc.).3-4 years of experience as an Intermediate Accountant.5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.Proficient in relevant accounting software."As one of the world's largest employers, we believe in talent not labels, and focus on the diverse and unique skills our people bring.
