Otago community hospice is on the lookout for an exceptional nurse to step into the role of intermediate planning coordinator for our specialist palliative care team in Dunedin, New Zealand. Our intermediate planning coordinator plays a vital role in leading a diverse and multidisciplinary team. They must have the ability to support a team towards a common goal of providing exemplary palliative care. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $130,278 per year. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in palliative care, with prior leadership experience in a clinical health department. Qualifications for Intermediate Planning Coordinator: Minimum of five years post-graduate experience in palliative care. Prior experience in areas such as acute medical, oncology, and palliative care. Hold or willing to pursue a Master's Degree in health sciences within 12 months of appointment. Ability to work towards an accepted portfolio (PDRP) following the New Zealand nursing council's framework. Confident in public speaking and education delivery. Moderate to expert level of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
