With three offices across the South Island, they are looking for an Intermediate Planner to join their Invercargill office. They will be hitting the ground running working on a mixture of high-end residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

While the organisation has flexible working arrangements, this role requires relocation to Invercargill.
You will have: Extensive knowledge of resource management planning in New Zealand along with a planning and/or resource management degree.
Practical and all-round planning experience.
Hold or be eligible for New Zealand Planning Institute membership.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the resource management planning sector.
The ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously on projects both locally and out of the region.
Exceptional analytical skills, adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
The role: As an Intermediate Planner, you will be collaborating closely with engineers and surveyors, servicing a range of clients from across the country. You will work on projects spanning from residential subdivisions to complex industrial projects, collaborating with a talented and supportive team of professionals.
Based in the Invercargill office, which consists of a team of approximately 20 staff, you'll build strong relationships with everyone in the office. Due to increased demand, both their Invercargill and Christchurch offices are experiencing sustained growth.

Key responsibilities include: Prepare and manage resource consent applications and other planning processes and liaise with consultants, stakeholders, and regional and local authority representatives.
Lead and work on local projects through to completion working alongside colleagues from different disciplines.
Work alongside other disciplines to produce high-quality work for clients.
Project manage the different stages associated with planning projects.
Create and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Maintain concise communication with other offices and the rest of the planning team.
