We are recruiting for Intermediate Auditor positions in our busy Auckland and Christchurch Office. 
At Acounta Chartered Accountants, we work closely with clients to identify any potential issues and risks, develop key business targets and proactively client performance to deliver a better result. You will be working in a fast-paced environment alongside both internal and external stakeholders.  You will need to have strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with a variety of people on a daily basis.  We have amazing opportunities within our business and believe in investing in our staff. 
Auditor role
You'll be involved in working closely with a variety of clients conducting both office-based and onsite audits. You will be responsible for reviewing financial statements and financial processes within a business and making recommendations about how they could do things more efficiently and effectively.  To be successful in this role, you will need a strong service-delivery focus along with the ability to draw on the technical skills obtained in your studies. This role is suited to someone who has worked at least 3-4 years in a medium or large accounting firm, ideally with exposure to auditing work. 
About You:

At least a Bachelor of Commerce degree specialising in Accounting 
At least 3 years of experience in an accounting related role 
Desire to progress your career in a Chartered Accounting firm
Excellent communication skills
Technically savvy
Has a strong commitment to meeting targets and deadlines
Above average grades
A positive and cheerful personality
Attention to detail and numerically accurate
Strong time management skills
Proactive problem solver

We offer a guaranteed hours of 37.5 per week.
