Interior Improvement Installer

Tasks to be performed Understanding plans, specifications and work sites to determine the type, their location, quality of installations, and how to use them; Drilling holes for screws and bolts, and nailing to prepare the location following the drawings and on-site directions by site supervisor; Attaching suitable materials to walls as and when required; Understanding how to use equipment to install functional improvements; Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials. Using hand tools to fit prefabricated windows, doors and its parts and other enhancements; Fitting improvements in place using bolts, screws, and nails; Installing and adjusting mechanical components including locks, cranks and pull-cords; Installing flashing and waterproofing to fixtures like shower screens and prefabricated windows and doors as and when required Skills required Relevant work experience for more than 1 year in the construction industry or equivalent qualification; Understanding of building codes, related legislation and standards in the related areas; Knowledge of practical building methods and materials; Team Player; Good command of English to communicate with other professionals; Please send your CV with the cover letter first.
