The Refugee Orientation Centre Trust, currently based in Hamilton, is planning to relocate to a new location. As part of this transition, we are seeking to undertake interior design work for our new building to create a welcoming and functional space for our community. We aim to design an environment that is not only visually appealing but also considers the cultural and emotional needs of the refugees we serve. Volunteer Requirements:We are looking for volunteers with a creative eye, a basic understanding of design principles, and experience with design software.Volunteers should be able to contribute to space planning, ensuring that the design meets the needs of our diverse community.Familiarity with building codes and the ability to work collaboratively with our team are also important.This project offers a unique opportunity to apply your design skills in a meaningful way, helping to create a space that will make a positive impact on the lives of those we assist.If you could assist us with workplace design to enhance the happiness, efficiency, and productivity of our employees, volunteers, and clients as part of your CSR project, it would be a tremendous help to our community. Requirements:A strong sense of creativity, basic knowledge of design principles, and some experience with design software.A good portfolio showcasing any relevant projects will be helpful.Time Commitment:A minimum of 5 hours a week but this can be discussed around your schedule.Getting Started:The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below.
